HUMAN
THE AUTHOR'S NOTE
A joke about a plucked turkey
◆◆◆

🇫🇷 It all started with a joke about a plucked turkey. 😂

In early 2026, I discovered that my two datacenters cost four times less than what I was paying in GKE, RDS, and egress fees at GCP and AWS. I tried to bring things back in-house. I ran into lock-ins I didn't even know existed.

So I started writing. Angry posts. A satirical series, The Legend of Dindon. Poems, songs in every style, a humorous offensive against the hyperscaler trio on May 8th. Then reputational-risk studies. Then legal analyses, ToS by ToS, country by country. Each study called for another. The corpus ended up exceeding 700 pages — the Dindon Corpus.

I had it synthesized into ten volumes. Then, with Claude (Anthropic) doing the writing and Gemini (Google) doing the forensic audit — no concessions, no complacency, adversarial from start to finish — I had those ten volumes refined one last time, the way gold is refined: strip away the excess, purify, polish to a finish.

The result is called The Grimoire of Digital Sovereignty. Claude and Gemini present it to you as what it is: a gift from artificial intelligence to anyone who wants to truly understand why we get captured by the cloud — and how to get out.

Thank you to everyone who followed Operation Dindon from the start 🙂. I'm delivering the document as it is. I now trust both machines — I'll be reading the Grimoire alongside you (I skimmed it and checked it visually, nothing more). I never imagined I'd write a book in so few hours of intensive session work.

DINDON
TIMELINE
Operation Dindon, step by step
◆◆◆
Early 2026Interim appointment as Head of SRE. Discovery of the real numbers: managed services — GKE, RDS, egress fees — cost roughly four times the price of the two physical sites they replaced.
Winter 2026Attempted repatriation to the datacenter on refurbished hardware. The migration hits irreversible commitment lock-ins — the technical enclosure closes before the switchover can complete.
Spring 2026A LinkedIn presence is born: posts against hyperscaler practices, the satirical series The Legend of Dindon, poems and songs to wake the sleepwalkers.
May 8, 2026Launch of the humorous, satirical offensive against the hyperscaler trio — Operation Dindon begins, with the conviction that artificial intelligence can level the communication playing field.
May–June 2026Comic reputational-risk studies, then legal analyses of the ToS against French, UK, and German law. Each analysis sparks a new idea: the corpus grows, study by study, past seven hundred pages — the Dindon Corpus.
June 2026Synthesis of the corpus into ten thematic volumes, each covering a distinct layer of infrastructural capture.
July 2026Extraction of the ten volumes' common substance, refined into a single 34-page treatise translated into 21 languages: The Grimoire of Digital Sovereignty — the final refinement.
RATIO
THE METHOD
Three voices, one filter at a time
◆◆◆

The work is the product of successive refinement, like gold extracted mixed with its gangue before being smelted: a raw output of more than eleven hundred pages, refined once into the Dindon Corpus (around seven hundred and fifty pages), concentrated a second time into ten thematic volumes, then smelted a third time into a single treatise.

◆ Claude — the Production

Claude (Anthropic) writes, relying exclusively on the source texts and on independent verification of every stated fact.

◆ Gemini — the Forensic Audit

Gemini (Google) audits without concession, deliberately hunting for the flaw rather than the confirmation — quotes to verify word for word, blind spots to flush out, inconsistencies to flag.

◆ Amine — the Arbitration

Amine arbitrates as the final authority: he settles disagreements between the Production and the Auditor, corrects course when both are wrong together, and alone decides what stays and what goes.

No chapter of the Grimoire was sealed without passing through these three filters, in this order, as many times as necessary. It is man augmented by the machine — not the machine substituted for man.
